Cookie Crumble aka Sophie
ABC 930*
May, 1988
Sophie is an older mare that is a true confidence builder. She carried me on many a mountain trail and gave me the strength to learn to lead a pack horse for stocking camp. She gave us my current mount, Blossom, and still retains the position of safest horse for a novice.

Vortex's Little Bay
ABC 1708*
May,1993
Miss Bay was the daughter of our first purchased Curly. Tex of Indian Spring, and in foal with a delightful little filly when we bought her. She is a very baroque mare that is a wonderful mom that seems to favor having fillies. While trained to saddle and packing, she prefers her life as a mom and is currently a gorgeous pasture ornament. We still own 3 of the 4 daughters she gave us.

Joleen is another wonderful broodmare from1993 that is also one of the best pack horses we have. She is around 14 hands tall so a good size for that as well. We have had two colts from her, both with super curly coats, Travvy, a bay pinto and Sky, a buckskin pinto.

Joy is half sister to Miss Bay and another daughter of our first purchased Curly, Tex of Indian Spring. We found such wonderful traits in Tex that we searched for and purchased another of his get. She is a bit more refined than many of our Curlies and shows a good bit of her Arab influence in her features and spirit. We had one filly from her who now resides in England.

Bay's Golden Autumn
ABC S 547
Sept, 1999
Autumn came to us with her mom the week before she foaled. She was the first foal we ever had as well as our first Curly baby, although she lacks the curly coat. Her sire was Skookum Buck and that is where her dun gene came from. Red dun must be pretty dominate as Autumn gave us a smooth coated red dun daughter and a very curly red dun pinto son. Autumn is one of our great saddle horses that loves to have a job.
